The Entech Group, Inc., (Entech) a leading provider of solar power systems in NJ, reminds homeowners and businesses of the terrific incentives NJ offers for those who go solar.
NJ recently expanded its Renewable Portfolio Standard, requiring utilities to produce about 1,500 mW of solar by 2021. The result of setting the bar so high is the state’s SREC (Solar Renewable Energy Certificate) programs, which offer homeowners and businesses terrific incentives to utilize solar power in NJ.
NJ Solar Power Incentives
NJ’s SREC program allows businesses and homeowners to resell surplus power generated through their own solar systems back to utility companies. Most recently, New Jersey SRECs were trading at about $600, so homeowners or businesses that have at least a 5kW system, can earn $3,000 per year in SREC payments.
New Jersey’s installed solar capacity is now more than 380 MW generated from over 10,000 solar arrays statewide. New Jersey is second in the nation in both installed solar capacity and number of installations; only California has more.
The Entech Group, Inc., provides residential and commercial solar power systems in NJ. Entech’s solar systems are a proven technology backed by a 5-year system warranty and a 20-year manufacturer’s warranty, so customers will be enjoying significant electric savings for the next quarter century or more.
